Life in Stogi
Stogi is a seaside peninsula in eastern Gdańsk — a wide sandy beach, pine forest along the coast, and the typical feel of a summer seaside resort. The beach at Stogi is one of the widest in Tricity, with supervised swimming sections in summer.
In summer the district hums — fried-fish stands, ice cream, water-bike rentals. Off season it quietly slows down, but the beach in winter can be surprisingly dramatic.
Transport: trams 8 and 3 reach the centre in 25–35 minutes. Stogi is further from the Old Town than Brzeźno, but in return it offers more space and fewer crowds on the beach itself.

Stogi beach is wider and less crowded than Brzeźno, but the district is further from the centre. Brzeźno wins on easier transport and a closer promenade; Stogi on more space and a more pine-forest character.
How long does it take to reach the Old Town from Stogi?
About 25–30 minutes by tram (line 8), up to 35 at rush hour. Bolt/Uber in 15–20 minutes. It's a longer commute than from other seaside districts — worth keeping in mind for short stays.
Is there anything to do in Stogi besides the beach?
In summer it's mainly the beach, the forest and food kiosks on the promenade. Off season things are quiet — local shops and basic infrastructure. Most sightseeing means a trip to the centre.
