“Near” on the map
Measure walking time in Google Maps at 9 pm on Saturday — not only a straight line. Bridges, strips and roadworks change how far it feels.
Śródmieście right by the Old Town often means better sleep with similar restaurant access.
Noise vs atmosphere
Core Old Town = maximum atmosphere and weekend buzz. Parallel streets = quieter, still “near Old Town”.
Ask about window side and floor — more important than a facade photo.
Book direct
When location fits, compare host price with OTAs. Without commission the total is often lower.

Realistically up to ~15 minutes walk to Neptune. Beyond that it is “commute to the centre”.
